Volunteers are sought to either wholly or partly assist with a range of committee positions at this community Toy Library. The volunteer roles available include the following: Media Coordinator - keeps members informed of the latest happenings at the Library via Newsletters and emails. Grants Officer - researches and applies for grants to secure extra funding for the Library. Publicity and Promotions Coordinator - responsible for developing a marketing strategy, organising external publicity and promotional events to promote the Library to the public. Fundraiser Coodinator - responsible for developing a fund raising plan and helps coordinate activities that will raise money to help cover the Library operating costs. Maternal Child Health and Library Talks Coordinator - arrange talks and present to interested parties, in order to promote the toy library and the benefits that it can offer. Good communication skills are required for this role. General Members - provide help and support for any aspects of running the Library. Toy Library Open Sessions: Saturday 10am-12.30pm, Wednesday 7pm-9pm and Thursday 10am-12pm. Short term and out of business hours volunteering available. Instructions and guidance are provided. Volunteers with a disability welcome to apply. You must be aged 18 and over to apply.
