On-Call Ambulance Coordinator

St. John Ambulance - Esperance

Coordinators are responsible for dispatching the ambulance crews after 000 is called.

They then make sure the crews are safe and - if any assistance either from another ambulance or other emergency services are required - Coordinators arrange the backup.

Coordinator shifts are available for either 9am to 5pm, or 5pm to 9am. Phones need to be on the volunteers at all times during their shifts.

Prior experience as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer could be beneficial in understanding the processes and procedurse involved in call outs.
