Volunteers give practical help to older patients by working with them to understand the 'here and now', decrease boredom by providing good conversation and mental stimulation, assist with eating, drinking and walking and watching for 'risky behaviour' to prevent falls.

ReViVe is a well established program that supports volunteers to learn new skills in communication and providing practical assistance to patients. You can initiate/ build on your your volunteering experiences/ skills and expand your circle of contacts.

You will make a positive difference to someone's day, feel greatly valued and appreciated by patients, relatives and staff.

People from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. No experience needed. Volunteers required to consent to a police check, be vaccinated to a community level, including for Covid and influenza (can be provided) and be over 18 years of age.
