A community based organisation operating a range of services, including support for disadvantaged people, requires vounteers to provide support to front desk staff, answering phone inquiries about services. The services offered include emergency relief, financial counselling, advocacy, information and referral, a neighbourhood program and other community programs such as community kitchens, homework groups and community art activities You can also assist in the various programs as special events arise. You will need to be aged 18 and over and commit to one shift a week from 9:30am to 1pm or 2 to 5pm, for a minimum of 12 months. Training is provided.
