About Dancing Hearts Studio

Dancing Hearts Studio is a not-for-profit dance studio located in Sydney Inner West. We deliver weekly dance classes for people with disabilities of various ages. Our programs focus on inclusion, creative movement, confidence, and building community through dance.

The opportunity

You support the Dance Teacher during classes and assist dancers as needed. You help with simple movements, encouragement, and class flow. Training and guidance are provided on site.

Key duties

• Assist the Dance Teacher during classes.
• Support dancers with movements and transitions.
• Offer encouragement and positive feedback.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
• Assist with basic setup and pack down of the studio.

Skills and experience

• Caring and respectful attitude.
• Interest in dance, music, or movement.
• Clear communication with dancers and staff.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• No previous dance or disability experience needed.
