Do you have an HR background, love staying organised, and want to use your skills for a good cause? Join our People and Culture team as a volunteer P&C Coordinator, with mentoring from an experienced HR leader. This role is fully remote and requires around 5 hours per week.

Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation bringing communities together through multicultural markets, festivals, and events across Victoria. Every dollar raised supports Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development. When you volunteer with us, you are directly supporting that mission.

Our team of around 50 volunteers works fully remotely from all over Australia.

About the Role
You will help look after the volunteer journey, from application through to the first months in the role. Working closely with the P&C Team Leader and Team Leaders across LMA, you will:

• Draft position descriptions and ads for new or updated roles
• Screen applications and conduct interviews via Google Meet
• Coordinate onboarding, including offer letters, compliance checks, and system access
• Send out 7, 21, and 40 day check-ins with new volunteers
• Track volunteer milestones and help celebrate them
• Keep our recruitment, onboarding, and skills trackers up to date
• Attend our weekly online team meeting on Monday evenings

About You

• General HR experience (paid or volunteer), ideally in recruitment or onboarding
• Organised and committed to making sure everything is tracked, followed up, and kept up to date
• Available for around 5 hours per week, including some regular availability for interviews
• Strong attention to detail and clear, warm communication skills
• Confident using Google Workspace or similar tools
• Discreet with personal information
• Study in HR or experience with not-for-profits would be a bonus
