300 Blankets is a 100% volunteer‑run charity supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across Victoria. Through our Outreach walks and Soul Kitchen community dinners, volunteers provide friendship, food, and essential support to people who need it most.

As our Volunteer Bookkeeper, you’ll help ensure our operations remain sustainable, transparent, and ready to grow. Your work directly supports the programs that bring dignity, connection, and hope to people doing it tough.

This is a flexible, low‑time‑commitment role (just 3–4 hours per month) where your expertise has outsized impact.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Record all monthly transactions in our accounting systems
• Lead preparation of monthly management reporting
• Conduct periodic bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Prepare financial analysis to support program and growth initiatives
• Lead preparation of annual financial statements
• Assemble information for external auditors during the annual audit
• Maintain an organised and compliant accounting filing system
