Maria* is in her 90s and lives in residential aged care. She is a warm and friendly Italian-speaking lady who would greatly benefit from the companionship of a regular Italian speaking volunteer visitor.

Maria* has a passion for gardening and cooking and enjoys talking about family, traditions, and everyday life. She has a particular fondness for children and loves hearing about the lives and experiences of others. She also has a small, friendly dog who brings her great comfort and companionship.

An Italian-speaking volunteer would be a wonderful match for Maria*. Whether chatting over a cuppa, sharing favourite recipes, talking about gardening, or simply enjoying each other's company, regular visits could develop into a valued friendship while helping Maria stay connected to her language and culture.

We're looking for a reliable volunteer who can commit to regular visits and enjoys building meaningful connections through companionship and conversation. As a Wesley volunteer, you'll receive:
