Fly2 Foundation is a recently established Western Australian-based not-for-profit organisation providing free flights to Perth for regional and remote WA residents who need to access non-critical specialist medical care. Every flight we fund means one less barrier between a patient and the treatment they need.

We're inviting Expressions of Interest from people who'd like to fill a vacancy on our Board and help guide the next stage of our growth.

What we're looking for:

• Based in WA (remote Board members based elsewhere in Australia are welcome to apply)
• A background in law and/or the aviation industry
• Strong board governance experience
• Have the capacity to commit to consistently attending board meetings and investing time in other tasks as required
• A commitment to supporting philanthropic causes
• Experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or the not-for-profit/charity sector (desirable)
• Have GAICD credentials (preferred)
• Attend bi-monthly Board meetings, mostly held online (minimum 6 meetings per year)
• Work on various tasks and activities relating to operations, promotion and governance as required
• Be an active, hands-on part of a small, dedicated volunteer team
