300 Blankets is powered by an incredible community of volunteers who show up every week to support people experiencing — or at risk of — homelessness. Through our Outreach Program (twice weekly) and Soul Kitchen (every Sunday), we provide connection, dignity, warm meals, and essential support to people doing it tough.

With more than 300 active volunteers, we’re committed to making volunteering easy, enjoyable, and genuinely rewarding — and that’s where you come in.

⭐ About the Role

As a Volunteer Manager, you’ll play a key part in keeping our day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. You’ll be the person who helps volunteers get ready, get rostered, and get out into the community where they’re needed most.

This role is perfect for someone who loves people, enjoys organising moving parts, and wants to make a meaningful impact.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Verify volunteer training documents & certificates
  (Your primary responsibility — ensuring volunteers are ready and compliant.)
• Use Volaby to manage schedules, rosters, and communications.
• Coordinate and allocate volunteers across Outreach and Soul Kitchen to ensure every shift is fully supported.
• Communicate with Program Managers to confirm allocations and respond to changing needs.
• Work closely with our Volunteer Engagement Managers to support volunteers and keep everything running smoothly.
