Rotary Club of North Sydney Sunrise is a friendly, active breakfast club serving the Lower North Shore. We run hands‑on community projects including the Crows Nest Market and Books in Homes, and support great local organisations such as Streetwork and Mary’s House, International projects and other volunteering initiatives. We’re refreshing our digital presence and need a talented volunteer to help us build a modern, engaging website that attracts new members and supporters.

About the role

We’re seeking a Web Designer to help redesign and rebuild our club website.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating clean, modern, user‑friendly sites and wants to use their skills for community good.

You’ll work closely with club members to shape the site structure, design, and content. The project is flexible and can be completed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design a modern, easy‑to‑navigate website for the Rotary Club of North Sydney Sunrise
• Create page layouts for:
  • Homepage
  • QR code landing page
  • About Us
  • Organisations we support
  • Crows Nest Market
  • Get Involved
  • Membership
  • Events & Meetings
  • Contact
• Improve visual identity (colours, typography, imagery) aligned with Rotary branding
• Ensure the site clearly communicates our community impact and how people can join or volunteer
• Provide basic guidance on maintaining or updating the site after launch

Skills & experience

We welcome volunteers with experience in any of the following:

• Web design (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar)
• UX/UI design
• Graphic design or brand development
• Content layout and visual storytelling
• Basic web development (optional)
