We define the baseline goals; you give it your unique twist. No endless meetings, no perpetual commitments. Just high-impact work that moves your community forward while building a spectacular portfolio piece.

Objective & Scope

To serve as the tone-of-voice custodian for OFA, generating highly engaging, accurate, and culturally competent written content across all outward-facing publications.

What you'll do

• Core Monthly Deliverables (80%)
  • Newsletter Copy: Drafting and structural editing for 2 community newsletters per month.
  • Social Media Captions: Drafting 8 compelling text captions with corresponding hashtags per month.
  • Event Promotion Kit: Copy drafting for 1 event invitation template, 1 follow-up email, and web registration copy.
• The Creative Autonomy Space (20%)
  • Opportunity to pitch and own a distinct editorial voice asset.
  • Choose and pitch one portfolio-building project in Month 2 to execute by Month 5. 
  • Projects will be assessed and approved before you begin work.
• General volunteer expectations
  • Undertake an OFA volunteer induction and role onboarding.
  • Understand and implement OFA’s strategy, vision and mission.
  • Uphold our volunteer code of conduct.
