As our organisation continues to grow nationally, we are seeking an experienced and organised Operations Manager to coordinate our day-to-day operations and support the delivery of our strategic priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building systems, coordinating projects and supporting volunteers within a purpose driven organisation.

You will play a key role in ensuring the organisation operates efficiently while supporting our volunteers and coordinating projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement Board approved work programs and strategic priorities
  • Manage organisational work plans, meeting schedules and project timelines
  • Coordinate and support a national volunteer workforce.
  • Review volunteer applications and match volunteer skills with organisational needs.
  • Maintain and organise Microsoft 365 systems, files and shared resources.
  • Coordinate organisational projects and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
  • Support communication across volunteer teams and Board members.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence and organisational documentation.
  • Help develop systems and processes that improve organisational efficiency.
  • Support the ongoing growth of Bridges & Pathways and its national programs.

About You

You are a highly organised and motivated professional who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a passionate volunteer team. Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in operations, project management or organisational administration.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience working within the not for profit, health or community sector will be highly regarded.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers or working with volunteer organisations would be an advantage.

This is a part-time voluntary position, approximately two days per week, reporting directly to the CEO and the Board. The work is flexible and mostly online.
