Content strategist
Organisational Background
ASCCA was formed in 1998 as a peak body for a network of computer clubs for seniors. Many Australian seniors are excluded from full participation in society because of low digital literacy. Our vision is that every Australian senior will be a confident and competent user of technology. Our mission is to strengthen senior communities, set national standards, advocate nationally, and prioritise support through trusted partner channels.
The Purpose & Impact of This Role
ASCCA produces a steady stream of content — newsletters, articles, social posts, media releases and website copy — but its impact depends on being planned, consistent and grounded in what actually resonates with our audience. As Content Strategist, you will bring structure and insight to our communications, analysing how past content has performed and using that understanding to guide what we publish next. Your work will ensure every piece of content supports a coherent message and reaches the right audience at the right time, strengthening ASCCA's voice and its ability to serve senior Australians.
