At GCG Headquarters, the Community Engagement Associate will foster a vibrant and inclusive volunteer community by supporting the planning and delivery of engaging events, community initiatives, and stakeholder engagement across HQ and university branches.

In this role, you will:

  • Community Engagement & Events: Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of engaging in-person and virtual events, social initiatives, and community experiences that foster a strong, inclusive culture across HQ and university branches.
  • Support Network & Alumni Engagement: Help strengthen and maintain relationships with alumni, volunteers, and key stakeholders through ongoing engagement initiatives and community events, building a connected and supportive GCG network.
  • On-Campus Event Facilitation: Act as the face of GCG HQ at our Melbourne University and Monash University branches, supporting the execution of high-profile, in-person campus panel events, workshops, and case competitions.

To be a successful Candidate, you will:

  • Able to commit 3–5 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience within People & Culture, HR coordination, or professional Event Management.
  • Must be based, or willing to travel locally within Melbourne to attend key evening or weekend university branch initiatives as required.
  • Strong communicator who can manage stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
