About MDAA
Multicultural Disability Advocacy Australia (MDAA) is the NSW peak advocacy organisation for multicultural people with disability. We provide culturally safe, independent advocacy to help people understand their rights, resolve problems, and navigate complex systems. Our work is guided by our vision of a society where diversity is valued and inclusion is permanently embedded in the way services, systems, and communities operate.

About the Role
MDAA is seeking talented, committed and values-driven individuals to join our Governance Committee. As a committee member, you will play an important role in guiding the strategic direction, governance and sustainability of the organisation.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in: • Governance and organisational leadership • Strategic planning and organisational development • Financial management and oversight • Fundraising, philanthropy and grant acquisition • Advocacy, human rights and community engagement • Disability, multicultural or community sectors • Risk management, compliance and organisational improvement
