Do you have a "gift for the gab" and a passion for community radio? Cherri Radio is looking for an enthusiastic Sponsorship Coordinator to help us grow! As a volunteer youth run internet station, our sponsors are the lifeblood that keeps our programs running and our equipment powered. We need a friendly, motivated professional person to reach out to local businesses and organizations to help them discover the benefits of supporting Cherri Radio.

What You’ll Be Doing?

Business Outreach: Identifying and contacting local businesses that align with Cherri Radio’s vibe and audience.

Building Relationships: Chatting with business owners about sponsorship packages and how they can get their message on our airwaves.

Managing Accounts: Being the friendly point of contact for our current sponsors to ensure they are happy and their scripts are up to date.

Creative Collaboration: Working with our on-air team to help craft sponsor announcements that sound great.

Community Impact: Helping the station remain financially sustainable so we can continue serving our listeners.

What We’re Looking For?

A Natural Communicator: You’re comfortable picking up the phone or walking into a local shop to introduce yourself and the station.

Self-Motivation: Since this is a volunteer role, we love someone who can manage their own time and stay driven.

Reliability: A few hours a week is all it takes, but consistency is key to keeping our sponsors happy.

Team Spirit: A genuine interest in the success of Cherri Radio and our local community.
