What you’ll do

• Provide a safe, caring and stable home
• Support everyday routines (meals, school, bedtime)
• Offer encouragement, patience and emotional support
• Help a child stay connected to their family, culture and community
• Work alongside a supportive care team
• Choose from flexible placements: overnight, respite, short- or long-term

Who we’re looking for

• Warm, reliable and compassionate individuals or families
• Good communicators who are open to learning
• People from all backgrounds—no formal qualifications needed
• Experience with children is helpful, but not essential
• Reside within our service area (ACT/NSW)

Support you’ll receive

• Comprehensive training and a 6-month guided accreditation process
• Ongoing support from a dedicated case worker
• Reimbursements to cover everyday care costs
• Access to a welcoming community of foster carers
