Volunteer Driver – Mobile Food Service (Liverpool, NSW)

Detailed Description KD Foundation is seeking a reliable and community-minded Volunteer Driver to support our weekly mobile food service in Liverpool, NSW. This role plays a vital part in ensuring essential food supplies reach individuals and families in need.

Key Duties

Drive your own vehicle to Bellavista and securely park it at the designated location Collect the KD Foundation van and pick up a fellow volunteer from Bellavista Travel to Foodbank (Glendenning) to collect non-perishable food supplies (arrival by 9:30am; collection starts from 9:00am) Assist with loading food items into the van Transport food to Bigge Park, Liverpool Work with the team to prepare and pack food bags for distribution Support the delivery and distribution of food to community members between 11:00am and 12:00pm Ensure safe driving, handling of goods, and adherence to schedule

Skills and Experience

Valid driver’s licence and confident driving experience Ability to drive a van comfortably Good time management and reliability (punctuality is essential) Physically able to lift and move food boxes (moderate lifting required) Strong teamwork and communication skills Compassionate and respectful approach when interacting with community members

Additional Information / Application Process
