Our Primary School Homework Help Project supports young learners who are settling into life and education in Australia, and we’re looking for compassionate volunteers to join our team.

Many of these children are adjusting to a new language and school system. Your support in English and Maths can make a real difference in their confidence, learning, and sense of belonging.

Your role will include:

• Assisting with English reading, writing, and comprehension
• Supporting basic Maths skills and homework tasks
• Encouraging participation in a safe and welcoming space
• Celebrating progress — big and small

All materials are provided, so there’s no need to prepare lessons. Just bring your patience, encouragement, and positive energy.

This is more than homework help, it’s about empowering young learners, building confidence, and helping them feel supported in their new community.
