Cloud School is a not-for-profit focused on education, entrepreneurship, and STEM pathways for under-served and at-risk young people in Australia and internationally. We work with community organisations, educators, and industry to create real pathways, not just programs.

**Role Overview ** We are seeking a senior Business Development volunteer to support partner engagement, corporate outreach, and sponsorship coordination.

This role is critical to building relationships that provide exposure, opportunities, and resources for students and the organisation.

This is not a sales role. It is a relationship-driven, mission-aligned BD role suited to someone experienced in partnerships, corporate engagement, or ecosystem building.

Key Responsibilities Partnership & Sponsorship Engagement • Identify and engage potential corporate, philanthropic, and community partners • Support conversations around sponsorship, in-kind support, and exposure opportunities • Coordinate introductions between Cloud School and partner organisations • Maintain warm relationships with existing partners

Volunteer & Ecosystem Support • Assist in identifying and coordinating skilled volunteers from industry • Support alignment between partner capabilities and program needs

Administration & Coordination • Track partner outreach and engagement activity • Assist with scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and documentation • Support preparation of basic partnership materials where required

Geographic Scope • Support engagement across Australia and internationally (including Southeast Asia)

About You We’re looking for someone who: • Has senior experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, sponsorship, or stakeholder engagement • Is comfortable engaging with executives, community leaders, and NGOs • Understands how to work across commercial and not-for-profit environments • Is organised, reliable, and able to follow through • Is motivated by purpose and impact, not titles

This role suits someone semi-retired, between roles, consulting, or looking to contribute skills to a meaningful cause.
