Recovere is an Australian-founded global donation management platform connecting donors directly with verified non-profits responding to disasters, poverty and crisis. As a Board Member, you will play a critical role in guiding the strategic direction, governance and sustainable growth of the organisation during a pivotal stage of development and international expansion.

The Board meets approximately 5 to 6 times per year, primarily via virtual meetings lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Board Members are expected to review meeting papers in advance, contribute thoughtfully to discussion and decision-making, and provide strategic oversight rather than operational management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic guidance and long-term vision • Oversight of financial sustainability and compliance • Risk management and governance assurance • Supporting ethical, best-practice donation management • Acting as an ambassador for Recovere within professional networks • Participating in occasional sub-committees or working groups if relevant to your expertise

Board Members may also contribute to annual strategy sessions and, from time to time, provide advice between meetings via email or short calls.

This is a volunteer governance role suited to experienced professionals who are passionate about global impact, strong governance and building scalable social innovation. You will join a purpose-driven Board helping to shape a trusted international platform that ensures communities receive the right support at the right time.
