About Greater Western Sydney Advocacy Network (GWSAN)

GWSAN is a regional advocacy network focused on spatial justice, youth opportunity and fair public investment across Greater Western Sydney. We bring together professionals, researchers and community members to strengthen the region’s voice in policy conversations.

As our work expands, strong internal coordination is essential. The Operations & Admin Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the network runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and organise shared drive folders

Track meeting actions and deadlines

Support scheduling and coordination across committees

Maintain contact and stakeholder spreadsheets

Upload approved content to website or shared platforms

Assist with basic documentation and formatting

This role focuses on coordination and operational support rather than strategy or policy work.

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone who:

Is organised and detail-oriented

Enjoys keeping systems tidy and efficient

Is comfortable using Google Workspace tools

Can work independently with light guidance

Is interested in community advocacy and regional equity

Experience in administration, operations or project support is helpful but not required.
