I Am Someone (IAS) – International Children’s Charity Remote / Flexible

About I Am Someone

I Am Someone is an Australian-based international charity working in Uganda, Kenya and Sierra Leone to break the cycle of poverty for vulnerable children through education, healthcare, nutrition and community-based care.

We work in some of the most remote regions in the world, providing long-term, locally-led solutions that support children from early childhood through to vocational training and university. We are a grassroots organisation with a big heart and big ambitions.

We are now seeking a creative, reliable and values-aligned Volunteer Social Media Manager & Graphic Designer to help grow awareness, trust and donor engagement through compelling digital storytelling.

About the Role

This is a flexible, remote volunteer role supporting the charity’s digital communications and social media presence. You will be responsible for transforming provided content ideas, campaigns and stories into engaging social media posts, graphics, reels and captions.

You will work directly with Ayla (Marketing & Operations Lead) and will be a key part of shaping how the charity is seen, felt and remembered online.

There are no fixed working hours. We are seeking approximately 10–15 posts per month, completed on a flexible schedule that suits you.

This is an ideal role for someone wanting real-world portfolio experience, meaningful impact, creative autonomy and long-term involvement with a growing international charity.
