Administration Assistant - Grants

Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering children in Australia who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability. We deliver grants, programs, scholarships and experiences to ensure all children can attain their full potential, regardless of their ability or background.
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, the Administration Assistant - Grants will be responsible for the following duties.
- Support the manager with data entry and the completion of templated sections within grant application forms
- Input data on Fundraising Database
- Assist with data entry of grant milestones and achievements
- Manage and update grants folders on SharePoint for easy access and organization
- Notify relevant internal departments, including Finance and Fundraising, about successful grants, providing details on the grant objectives, timeline, funding amounts, required actions, start and end dates, and instructions for sending receipts with necessary information
- Organize grant-related correspondence and documents with external stakeholders
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Passion for making a difference to children and their families.
- High attention to detail and computer skills
- Experience in data entry and other administration
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Raisers Edge or other Fundraising CRM/Systems an advantage
