Korean Language Tutor – Community Learning Program (Eastwood)

CCA NSW is seeking a Korean Language Tutor to facilitate a community-based Korean language class as part of our Community Learning program. The role will commence after the Easter holiday and involves teaching a friendly and enthusiastic group of learners.
Classes are held:
- Day: Tuesday
- Time: 1:30 – 2:45 pm
- Location: Eastwood Uniting Church
The class focuses on basic conversational Korean, cultural understanding, and enjoyable learning at a comfortable pace.
Key Duties
- Plan and deliver beginner-friendly Korean language lessons
- Support learners with speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing skills
- Encourage participation and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Work collaboratively with CCA NSW staff to support the program
Skills and Experience Needed
- Proficiency in spoken and written Korean
- Experience teaching or tutoring (formal or informal) is desirable
- Friendly, patient, and encouraging communication style
- Ability to engage with adults from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability and commitment to regular sessions
