Founded in Melbourne, we deliver events, workshops, and community initiatives that promote social connection, mental wellbeing, cultural pride, and belonging.

Key Responsibilities

The Volunteer Administrative Assistant supports the organisation by:

  • Managing inboxes, calendars, and meeting coordination
  • Preparing agendas, meeting notes, and simple documents
  • Tracking tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups using tools such as ClickUp or shared documents
  • Assisting with basic operational coordination across projects and events
  • Supporting record-keeping and document management
  • Helping the CEO stay organised, focused, and prioritised
  • Liaising with volunteers or Board members as requested
  • Providing general administrative support as needed

Tasks will be clearly defined and aligned with the volunteer’s availability and capacity.

Skills & Attributes

The ideal Volunteer Administrative Assistant will:

  • Be organised and detail-oriented
  • Be comfortable using basic digital tools (email, calendars, shared documents)
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in writing
  • Be reliable and able to follow through on agreed tasks
  • Respect confidentiality and handle information sensitively
  • Be able to work independently with light guidance
  • Have an interest in community organisations or not-for-profit work

Previous administrative or coordination experience is helpful but not required. Training and support will be provided.
