Role Overview
As a Communications volunteer, your main responsibilities will be drafting content, posting updates on social media, and emailing information to targeted audiences. You will help translate our research and policy work into clear, responsible communications that inform and engage global audiences. This is a hands-on role ideal for gaining real experience in nonprofit communications.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft content for the website, social media, and email updates
• Post approved content to social media platforms
• Distribute emails to targeted academics, partners, and stakeholders
• Track engagement and report interactions
• Assist with basic media or outreach support as needed
Skills & Experience (Desired)
• Interest in communications, media, public affairs, or nonprofit work
• Good written communication skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media platforms, websites, or email tools
• Willingness to follow structured guidance and approval processes
No formal qualifications are required.
