About On My Feet (OMF)  On My Feet (a registered charity in Australia), helps people transform their lives. A not-for-profit supporting people experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness by providing exercise groups and structured programs aimed at creating pathways to self-sufficiency and improved wellbeing. On My Feet Programs are offered free of charge to residents/clients and the shelters/agencies. We have several chapters throughout Western Australia, and we are growing.

What this role will do:

Financial Transactions & Records Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and accurate financial record-keeping, ensuring income and expenses are correctly coded in line with not-for-profit reporting and internal cost centres. Payroll & Staff Support Process payroll for a small team of paid staff in accordance with Fair Work requirements, including superannuation, PAYG, leave, and Single Touch Payroll, while maintaining employee records and supporting onboarding and offboarding. Volunteer Financial Administration Oversee volunteer reimbursements and allowances, track volunteer and program-related expenses, and support accurate financial reporting of volunteer activities. Compliance & Statutory Reporting Prepare BAS and ensure GST compliance where applicable, maintain records for ACNC and ATO requirements, and support audits or independent reviews in line with NFP governance standards. Budgeting, Reporting & Financial Oversight Assist with budgeting and cash-flow forecasting, produce regular financial reports for management and the Board, monitor expenditure against budget, and support grant and funding acquittals. Systems & Continuous Improvement Maintain and improve bookkeeping systems and processes, support cloud-based accounting software, and work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.
