LMS Course Conversion Specialist

BLUE KNOT FOUNDATION

This project role is home based and will support organisational efficiency, compliance and wellbeing of our staff in the delivery of our critical services, by enabling our newly acquired LMS to retain the course and course content of our current LMS, whilst ensuring content accuracy, compliance, accessibility, and forward-facing completion tracking, plus historical completion data migration.

Key Responsibilities

This project role will report directly to the Head of People and Culture, and is split into two parts, to support prioritisation based on LMS transition timelines.

The first section below, Priority, is what must occur by end March 2026. If time and availability allow, the second section, Secondary, are some additional responsibilities that we would welcome support from the successful project volunteer once the priorities have been completed.

Priority:

  • Convert existing courses in our Coassemble LMS and rebuild in ELMO Learning. This will likely require extensive copy typing, creative content generation, as well as strong system admin skills.
  • Review and recommend content updates to reflect current Australian compliance and legislation, plus company policies.
  • Test courses and tracking/reporting functionality.
  • Provide handover documentation at project completion.

Secondary

  • Configure learner groupings, course assignments, and reporting frameworks in consultation with the Head of People & Culture.
  • Ensure individual and team-based completion tracking is enabled.
  • Assess feasibility and provide recommendations on automated migration of historical course completion data.

Key Requirements

  • Able to commence ASAP with course rebuilds as a minimum completed by end March 2026 as a preference. April completion would be considered.
  • Experience as online course developer within LMS platforms, ideally Coassemble and/or ELMO Learning.
  • Strong copywriting and copyediting skills.
  • Understanding of organisational compliance training content in Australia.
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
  • High-level English literacy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively.
  • Located in Australia with the legal right to volunteer/work.
