The Australian Dental Foundation (ADF) is a national oral health charity dedicated to improving access to dental care and education across Australia. Through community programs and Australian dentist-developed oral care products, ADF supports vulnerable communities while promoting lifelong oral health. One of our key awareness initiatives is Brush for Good Month, alongside other community and engagement events held throughout the year.

We are seeking an Events Support volunteer to assist with the delivery of Brush for Good Month and other ADF events. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on supporting the execution of events and activities, working closely with ADF staff and fellow volunteers.

Key duties include:

Assisting with preparation for events, including packing materials, products, and signage

Supporting event set-up, pack-down, and on-the-day activities

Helping coordinate with staff, volunteers, and community partners

Assisting with basic event administration, checklists, and timelines

Supporting simple promotional activities, such as sharing approved messaging or capturing photos at events

Helping represent ADF in a friendly and professional manner at community events

Skills and experience:

No previous events experience required — training and guidance provided

Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Reliable, organised, and willing to help with a variety of tasks

Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions

A current, or willingness to obtain, a Working With Children Check
