Role Overview:

We are seeking Volunteer Maths Tutors to support CALD secondary school students . Volunteers work alongside FMAES staff to provide encouragement, academic support, and positive learning experiences.

Key Duties:

• Deliver tutoring sessions

• Encourage confidence, engagement, and positive learning habit

• Provide constructive feedback

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Follow FMAES child-safe, safeguarding, and program guidelines

Skills & Experience:

• Interest in education, tutoring, or youth support

• Strong knowledge in any core subject areas

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, enthusiasm, and willingness to work with diverse students

• Tutoring or teaching experience or education studies are a plus

Training & Support:

Induction and guidance from experienced educators

Tutoring strategies and lesson support for diverse students
