What you’ll be doing:

• Greeting visitors with a smile and offering a welcoming presence
• Responding to enquiries from a diverse range of community members — from people booking yoga classes and venue hirers to older community members and people experiencing homelessness
• Assisting with bookings and general reception duties
• Helping with light database tasks (training and support provided)
• Supporting a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all

Who we’re looking for: ✔ A warm, friendly communicator who enjoys engaging with people from all walks of life ✔ Someone reliable, patient and comfortable responding to a variety of questions ✔ No prior experience required — full training, guidance and ongoing support will be provided

Who are we? Crows Nest Centre is a not-for-profit community organisation and registered charity that has been supporting people in Crows Nest and surrounding areas since 1972. Our mission is to connect our community, sustain wellbeing and reduce social isolation through quality services and activities for older people, people with a disability, migrants, parents, and people who are homeless or at risk. We are proud to be a friendly, cohesive team where staff and over 200 volunteers work together to make our Centre welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for everyone who walks through our doors.
