Community Connector and Database Builder
The Palms International Volunteering Community Connector will assist us to reconnect personally with parishes, schools and other referral organisations, to encourage them to help us promote the international volunteering opportunities available, to their members.
Hours are FLEXIBLE, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. You may also be able to complete some work from home, if this suits you.
**Purpose of Activities you will Support **
- To increase the Palms International Volunteering profile to attract good candidates for international volunteer placement
- To nurture our network of supporters and referral agents
- To ensure that the contact details we have for all our partner and referral organisations are accurate.
Key Responsibilities In this role you will:
- Contact parishes, schools and other referral organisations to check that they are receiving our email bulletins and seek their advice or feedback on how else we might best communicate with their members.
- Update our database, as necessary, based on your conversations
- Work with the Palms International Volunteering recruitment and administration team on various role specific recruitment campaigns we undertake from time to time.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Reasonable confidence with Office 365 and willingness to work with simple databases.
- Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
- Enthusiasm to raise awareness about Palms International Volunteering
