Join our dedicated team of members and help support individuals and families in need in the Ingleburn/Macquarie Fields area.

As a data entry and administration volunteer, you’ll assist by entering essential information into our client database—such as details from interaction forms or helpline requests—and supporting general administrative duties including filing, and record-keeping.

Your contribution will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records of our community support, helping Vinnies deliver compassionate assistance where it’s needed most.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Intermediate computer skills and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills to ensure accurate and reliable records.

  • Compassion and confidentiality, with a non-judgmental attitude toward people seeking assistance.

  • A willingness to work within the ethos and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society.

No prior experience is required—full coaching and training will be provided. Volunteers with administration or welfare experience are also warmly encouraged to apply and share their knowledge with the team.

Why volunteer with Vinnies?

  • Connect with like-minded people and build meaningful friendships.

  • Gain valuable experience and develop new skills.

  • Enjoy the satisfaction of making a real difference in the lives of people facing hardship.

Become part of a community that cares. Join Vinnies and help us continue our mission of offering hope, respect, and practical support to those who need it most.
