Learning Management System Troubleshooter Volunteer

The Learning Management System Troubleshooter will be providing assistance with the following activities:

  • Working with the Education Team to identify and understand a range of issues with the use and navigation of online courses.
  • May involve speaking with RSPCA volunteers or members of the public to understand and troubleshoot particular issues.
  • The software we use includes an LMS through We Teach Me (booking platform), LMS through ACORN as per the Learning and Development offerings to staff and volunteers through RSPCA.
  • Updating and creating learning modules using the design software Articulate Storyline and Rise.
  • Assist in exploring each issue experienced by users and help problem solve these.

To successfully undertake this role, the volunteer will possess the following skills, attributes and/or experience:

Essential:

  • Well established experience with Information Technology Systems
  • Experience working behind the scenes of website and LMS frameworks
  • Ability to work with team members to find solutions and options for each problem

Desirable:

  • Experience working or volunteering in the Information Technology or Information Systems field.
  • RSPCA Volunteer experience
