Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate volunteer to help develop, review, and refine organisational policies. Your work will ensure our policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with our mission and values.

Location

Wollongong, NSW (Hybrid or Remote options available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and draft new policies in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and update existing policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with current legislation and best practice.
  • Ensure policies are written in plain language and are accessible to all staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain version control and documentation for all policy updates.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong written communication and editing skills.
  • Ability to interpret legislation, guidelines, and organisational requirements.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
