This Moment Junction is a dynamic, community-driven organisation with a strong focus on innovation and impact across a diverse range of domains; homelessness and family violence services, out-of-home care, youth programs, early intervention, housing, and social enterprise. We’ve begun operating, learning from, and embedding social enterprises that create meaningful opportunities and strengthen our community-focused work. We’re partnering with cross-sector businesses and leveraging strategic relationships to amplify our reach and demonstrate that locally driven innovation leads to lasting change.

The Opportunity We are now seeking passionate, strategic thinkers to join our Board of Directors - people who see the potential in regional communities, believe in innovation that serves a meaningful purpose, and want to use their expertise to drive real impact. This is an opportunity to contribute to an organisation that is genuinely making a difference, fosters collaboration, and shapes the future of social impact in regional Victoria.

What This Involves: You'll attend 10 board meetings per year (approximately 3-4 hours each), contribute to decisions that shape our future, through strategic leadership that supports local action.

What Would Help: While we're looking for people who share our vision first, we're particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:

• Legal (regulatory compliance, contract negotiation)
• Social enterprise (revenue generation, sustainability, scaling ventures)
• Entrepreneurship and business growth (innovation, diversification)

Gippsland Connection: We're actively seeking Gippsland-based directors to deepen our regional presence. We provide travel reimbursement, can host meetings locally, and offer Teams participation.

• You have (or will obtain prior to commencement) a valid Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and Director Identification Number, and have completed appropriate Child Safe and NDIS training
