About the opportunity
Primary Purpose of the Position
The Cobargo Community Tree Project (CCTP) is a community project that grew out of post 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires community consultations, including during sessions facilitated by ABV in Cobargo. This assignment is to address the resourcing shortfall and assist in bringing this project to life.
On completion, the Cobargo Community Tree Project will be installed on the main street of Cobargo, standing as testament, for visitors and future residents, of the community strength displayed in 2019-20.
The tasks and deliverables of this Assignment are:
• Design and format a new fundraising prospectus (print), including text and photos provided.
• Create high-impact print collateral to appeal to philanthropic donors and sponsors.
• Design supporting posters and collateral to engage community during consultation.
Selection Criteria:
• Graphic design skills and experience in creation of high-quality print material.
• Set up to work remotely with appropriate access to specialist software.
• Ability to understand briefs and facilitate the consultative design process with clients who may have no design experience.
• Understanding of print production.
Role information:
- Starting in November 2025, as soon as mutually agreeable
- 3-5 hours per week over approximately 2 months

- 5 years professional experience in the relevant field
- Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident residing in Australia. Australian citizens residing overseas may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Willingness to complete a Working with Children Check
