As a Volunteer Retail Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly team that keeps the South Lakes Salvos Store buzzing. The role is hands-on and varied — from chatting with customers, to sorting through donations, to making the store look its best. No two shifts are ever the same!

Key Tasks

As a volunteer you might: Welcome customers and help them find what they’re looking for Sort, price, and prepare donated items for sale Create eye-catching displays and tidy shelves Restock and rotate items to keep things fresh Help with online sales or packing orders (in some stores) Keep the shop floor clean and inviting Lend a hand with donations or light lifting when needed
