Role Overview:
As a General Committee Member of the Australian NPC Disease Foundation (ANPDF), you will play an essential role in supporting the foundation’s projects and initiatives. Whether you bring fresh ideas, a particular skill set, or a willingness to assist with diverse tasks, your contributions will help improve the lives of families affected by Niemann-Pick Disease (NPC).
Key Duties:
- Support Sub-Committees: Assist with specific projects or initiatives based on your interests and skills.
- Community Engagement: Help foster connections and communicate with families, stakeholders, and the public.
- Event Assistance: Contribute to planning and running events such as fundraisers, awareness campaigns, or educational programs.
- Content Creation: Develop social media posts, educational materials, or website content to raise awareness about NPC.
- Meeting Participation: Attend monthly online board meetings to provide input and stay updated on the foundation’s activities.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Flexibility: A willingness to contribute to various projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with board members and volunteers.
- Creativity: Fresh perspectives and innovative ideas are welcome to enhance our initiatives.

How to Apply:
To stand for election to the ANPDF Committee, nominees must submit a completed nomination form with a proposer and seconder available at npcd.org.au/agm.
New to ANPDF? If you don’t yet know any members to support your nomination, apply here or visit npcd.org.au/agm to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI).
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the General Manager.
- We’ll help facilitate introductions with current members.
- Once two members agree to support your nomination, your form can be finalised and included in the AGM election process.
