Are you ready to make a difference while being part of one of Australia's most inspiring charity events? The MS Gong Ride is a legendary cycling event from Sydney to Wollongong that raises vital funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing volunteers.

MS Plus is one of Australia’s leading providers of support for people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. For nearly 70 years, we’ve offered expert guidance on living well with MS, delivering emotional and practical support through allied health, employment and NDIS services, wellbeing programs, and peer support.

We’re seeking course marshal volunteers to support the MS Gong Ride on Sunday 2 November 2025.

Course Marshals play a vital role for participants in the MS Gong Ride, directing, encouraging and cheering on riders along the course, as well as advising of any approaching hazards.

We’re looking for volunteers who:

  • Are positive and energetic
  • Are reliable
  • Are able to provide clear verbal communication to event participants
  • Able to stand or sit outdoors for periods of time

In particular, we're looking for course marshals in the following areas: Thirroul, North Wollongong, Waterfall, Monterey, and Rockdale. If you live in one of these areas, are looking to give back, gain new skills, meet likeminded people and would like to help keep our event running safely and smoothly, we'd love to have you on the team!

Help us create a memorable and successful MS Gong Ride and support Australians living with multiple sclerosis by applying today.

An online application form can be filled out via our event website. Once you apply below, a link to the application form will be sent through.
