About the role
Reporting to SCPU programs lead, Tara Ray the position of Administration & Office Support Volunteer will support the Paddle Australia Activation ICF Slalom World Championships Sydney 2025, scheduled to take place from 29 September to 4 October at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium in Sydney.
The purpose of the role of Administration & Office Support Volunteer is to assist/support tasks in the preparation and planning of this event. You will also have the option to volunteer at the event if this is of interest.
Key tasks of the position
– Support general administration duties of the Paddle event team
– Be responsive to incoming enquiries and provide professional and friendly customer service
– Communicating with stakeholders, including CCNSW staff from other divisions
– Securing equipment quotes & ordering equipment on approval
– Assist with securing CNSW staff/volunteers to cover shifts for the activation and record this on the shift report
– Organising event materials and equipment
– Coordinating travel arrangements
– Assisting in the coordination of event setup and breakdown
– Data entry and management tasks within excel
About you
– Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
– Strong time management skills
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Ability to undertake self-directed work
– Follow directions and be able to take initiative
