Newsletter Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Content Gathering
Liaise with coaches, team managers, committee members, and volunteers to collect updates, match reports, and announcements.
Source photos and stories that showcase the club’s people and activities.
Newsletter Production
Write, edit, and format content in a clear and engaging style.
Use simple design tools (e.g., Canva, MS Word, Mailchimp, or similar) to create an appealing newsletter layout.
Ensure content reflects the club’s values and community spirit.
Distribution
Circulate the newsletter to members and supporters via email, club website, and/or social media platforms.
Maintain an up-to-date distribution list.
Promotion & Engagement
Highlight upcoming events, fundraising activities, and volunteer opportunities.
Celebrate player and team achievements to build club pride.
Encourage contributions and feedback from members.
Skills & Attributes
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer and design skills (experience with Canva, Mailchimp, or WordPress desirable but not essential).
Organised and reliable, with the ability to meet regular deadlines.
Friendly and collaborative, able to connect with different parts of the club community.
Support Provided
Guidance from the Club Committee or Communications Officer.
Access to templates, branding guidelines, and digital tools where available.
Ongoing support from other volunteers for content and distribution.
