STEPS Pathways College - Trainer Assistance

Join us in empowering young adults with disability and autism to live independently. As a STEPS Pathways College Student Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in our unique live-and-learn education model — the first of its kind in Australia. Volunteers support students across a range of learning environments, helping them build confidence, life skills, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist trainer in classroom environments with activities, small group work, and tutoring
- Provide emotional support and encourage self-regulation strategies
- Promote social skill development through conversation and interaction
- Support students in applying learning to everyday life
- Join students and trainers on community outings
- Help with light administrative tasks like printing and restocking supplies
