About Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn and Our Shops: The St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn (Vinnies) has been serving the local community for over 100 years. We are committed to offering a ‘hand up’ to people experiencing hardship through practical assistance, advocacy and compassion. Our network of Vinnies Shops is a vital part of our mission. The shops provide high-quality, affordable goods to the community, reduce landfill by reusing and recycling and generate essential funds to support our local programs — including homelessness services, food assistance and emergency relief. Every role in our shops, from sorting donations to serving customers, makes a real difference in people’s lives.

About the Role: Help bring the fun back to pre-loved toys! You'll sort, clean and care for donated treasures to make sure they're safe, sparkling and ready to create new memories with their next little owner.

Key Tasks:

• Hunt for missing puzzle pieces and check toys for damage.
• Give grubby toys a fresh start with a good clean and sanitise.
• Add price tags that reflect their value and charm.
• Arrange toys so they’re easy to find and hard to resist.

Skills & Attributes:

• A good eye for safety, especially with toys for little ones.
• Gentle hands and a patient heart for delicate or well-loved items.
• A splash of creativity to make our toy shelves pop with colour and fun.
