Board Member

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our Board of Directors. This is an opportunity for established leaders who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Assyrian cause at a national and international level.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in monthly Board meetings (generally held outside business hours)
- Support the development of advocacy strategies and key organisational policies
- Assist with event planning, media engagements, and maintaining institutional partnerships
- Represent the ANCA at formal events, meetings, and interstate/international delegations (including weekdays)
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving on a governance board or executive committee is strongly desirable
- Currently employed full-time in a professional capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in law, governance, public policy, or a related field
- Ability to commit to weekday travel, including occasional overnight and international engagements
- Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and multicultural advocacy

Please Note
This is a senior governance position. While we deeply value our emerging leaders, this role requires a high level of professional and strategic experience. Proficiency in the Assyrian language is strongly desired. The successful applicant must also be a financial member of the Association.
