Location: OBK.org.au – Big Kitchen, Sydney (Hybrid or Remote Available) Commitment: Volunteer (Flexible hours; ideal for students or professionals seeking to contribute to a community-focused organization)

About Us: OBK.org.au is a community kitchen and social enterprise committed to providing meals and support to those in need. We are leveraging Qairos, an industrial asset management platform, to improve how we track and manage inventory in our kitchen.

The Role: We are seeking a volunteer software developer who is passionate about community impact and has experience building mobile and web applications. Your primary focus will be helping us enhance our inventory management process with user-friendly Android apps and web interfaces using Blazor.NET.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a mobile Android application for inventory tracking. Create intuitive and responsive web UI components using Blazor.NET. Collaborate with the OBK team to understand workflow needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Integrate with Qairos system APIs and backend data. Test and debug applications to ensure functionality and reliability.

Skills Required: Experience in Android development (Java or Kotlin). Proficiency in Blazor.NET and C# for web application development. Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integration. Basic understanding of inventory systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
