The Kinglake Trust Reserve (KTR) Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and community-minded Social Media Coordinator to help us strengthen our connection with the Kinglake Ranges community!

Who We Are

The Kinglake Trust Reserve (KTR) is a nonprofit organization managed by a dedicated volunteer committee. Located just 54km northeast of Melbourne, we provide recreational spaces and facilities that bring the Kinglake Ranges community together. We want to share our story, promote local events, and create an online hub where residents can stay informed and engaged—and that’s where you come in!

About the Role

As our Social Media Coordinator, you will have the exciting opportunity to build and manage our Facebook presence, ensuring that the community stays updated on events, activities, and important news. You’ll have the creative freedom to develop engaging content, foster online conversations, and enhance KTR’s visibility—all while making a meaningful contribution to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and manage engaging Facebook content that reflects the vibrant Kinglake community.

✅ Encourage community interaction by responding to comments and messages.

✅ Promote local events, activities, and facility updates to boost participation.

✅ Advise the KTR Committee on social media trends and best practices.

✅ Maintain cybersecurity awareness and ensure community data is protected.

✅ Provide input on social media costs and assist in developing a budget.

What We’re Looking For:

🌟 A creative thinker with an eye for storytelling and community connection.

🌟 Experience in content planning and coordination, particularly on Facebook.

🌟 Familiarity with multimedia tools (images, videos, and graphics) to enhance posts.
