We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to help with the day-to-day operations at Mingaletta in Umina Beach! Your support helps keep our space safe, welcoming, and ready for the incredible cultural programs we run every week. Whether you’ve got a green thumb, a knack for fixing things, or just love to pitch in – we’d love to have you on board!

#Key Responsibilities:

• Light cleaning of indoor spaces (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)

• Basic yard work (sweeping paths, watering gardens, weeding)

• General property maintenance (minor repairs, keeping outdoor areas tidy)

• Supporting the set-up or pack-down of community events or gatherings

• Noticing and reporting any property issues to staff

• Assisting with other practical tasks to help the centre run smoothly

#What You’ll Bring:

• A positive, can-do attitude

• Willingness to get your hands dirty and take initiative

• Basic handyman or gardening skills (helpful, but not essential)

• Respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and community

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
